Shared BrowserCam Account - 8 Spots Open

Last year, myself and 24 others created a shared BrowserCam account (with BrowserCam’s permission) so we could view our sites on their huge collection of browsers. The account has come up for renewal and we have room for 8 people to jump in and get unlimited access for just $20US a year.

I’ve never used fundable.org before, but this seems like the perfect place to give it a shot. They apparently don’t take a commission when setting up BrowserCam accounts either, so that’s a huge bonus.

First 8 to sign up are in.

Damn, I was late. Enjoy it :).

Hey Cooper, If you want to start your own group, I’ll advertise it here for you. It only took a few hours to get the 8 people I needed.

Jesse

I would be into it… Cooper? and i know one other person who would be interested, i think.

Jesse, that would be awesome, thanks!

I would definitely be interested in joining your group, Cooper :)

I do have one other person… that puts us at 4 already…

how do we proceed, i have know idea how fundable works…

That was the first time I used fundable as well, but it was pretty simple. Just create an account, and it will walk you through the process of creating a new “Group Action”. Once enough buyers have “pledged”, Fundable will send you the money in one sum via paypal.

Once you have your fundable account set up, let me know, I’ll update the main article which should ping everyone’s RSS readers again.

I Emailed BrowserCam about their group rates via fundable and they said that the $25 per person package (http://fundable.org/browsercam/) is still applicable, and that I could join this ongoing group – https://www.fundable.org/groupactions/browsercamJune06

While it doesn’t tell you exactally how many spots have been filled, it looks to be nearly done, so if anyone would like to sign up, I’m sure they’d appreciate it :).

shit! i missed it again!

Hi Jesse,

thanks for this information.
As i was also to late to join i set up another shared browsercam fundable group:
http://www.fundable.org/groupactions/groupaction.2006-06-23.5530765961

I think this is a free similar service (I haven’t tried it out) – http://v03.browsershots.org

I have tried the v03.browsershows.org one as Aaron posted. It takes a long time depending on the queue. Sometimes minutes, but mostly hour(s). HTH.

Meanwhile, being as the position Axel was in (late and wanting to get in the deal), I was wondering if anyone would like to start one. I can do it but my PayPal is a Business one. I’m not to sure about the intricacies involve with that. Also, where does fundable grab its 7% fee, or how does it come to play with the Browsercam deal?

Update: Just read, “BrowserCam group actions are FREE. (No fees of any kind).” Cool. But still can’t figure out how having a Business PayPal account will effect the total.

If someone wants to create another one, I’d get in on it.

I’d be really interested in sharing!

I’ve just signed up for this one http://www.fundable.org/groupactions/browsercamcomplete.

Boy – the BrowserCam groups go quickly. Each one I found was completed, so I started one: https://www.fundable.org/groupactions/BrowserCam-Complete-Sept-2006

I can’t find any room for myself at each attempt, I think they should reconsider the way someone can gat an account, even if they have to raise its price alittle.

Wow those groups go so quick. I’ve started one on my own as I really want to take advantage of this offer.

If you’re interested in joining please visit:

Jesse, perfect timing ;)

I’m going to take you up on this offer, except my fundable is a little bit different. We’re going for the full “all-out” premium Browsercam subscription. You know, the $1000 yearly package with PRIORITY screen capture and remote access queues, a higher number of users (25), 60-minute Remote Access sessions, a higher number of Full Page Captures, and more. It’s $40 each ($3.33 per month). Well worth it.

I owe ya one Jesse

thanks for this information

Jesse,

Would you be willing to to help me out by setting up a Shared BrowserCam account for me? I missed out on the above accounts. I would be interested in doing the same package that you had setup initially setup asking for the first 8 people at $20 a piece. I don’t know what you would need from me but just let me know. Cool website BTW.

Mike

Sorry Jesse just figured out what needed to be done. Anyway, this is a link to an account that is available for whoever wants to share a BrowserCam account.

If I could post it here Jesse it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

While it doesnt tell you exactally how many spots have been filled, it looks to be nearly done, so if anyone would like to sign up, Im sure theyd appreciate it :).

Keep up the good work. Greetings from Poland

Id be really interested in sharing too so let me know!

Thank you for your presentation Keep up the good work.

I see that people are still posting here about starting browsercam group memberships. If anybody starts a group membership for a premium account, I’m in. Under $4 a month is a steal in my opinion, and the priority screenshops seem worth it. I’m receiving followup comments via email so I’ll be checking back.

Hey Bud,

I’ve got one spot open from the premium fundable we did, because someone joined and didn’t pay. The browsercam subscription is already in progress, so the good news is there’s no waiting. Just use the contact form on my site to send me an email and I’ll discuss things with you.

Hurry quick before someone else beats you to it!

Scott

Scott: I just filled out the contact form on your site. Thanks.

All set up bud.

This confirms we have no more room in our premium group. Thanks, and merry Christmas!

Scott

I have started one as well, its availible at: https://www.fundable.org/groupactions/browsercam-split-premium-annual-subscription which is for the BC-premium package.

Hope you people jump in – i’ve been trying to join a group action for months, it seems they fill up faster than i am at finding them :)

By the way, happy new year!

Is there an open spot for a normal group, not premium one?

I set one up the other day, and it seems to be filling up pretty quickly. 10 out of 20 people at $25 apiece so far. That’s in 5 days. Here’s the link:

joined the cause Jason Norris. look forward to full pledge day :)
